The Sweet Life

Welcome to Cupcakes and Kindness! Okay, I admit it. I have a sweet tooth. Anyone who has ever spent more than five minutes with me probably knows one or two things about my undeniable love of sweets. I've always dreamed of starting a blog, and it only took a slight push from my friend Shani to finally get me started.

With the holiday season just right around the corner, I thought this would be the perfect time to start writing a blog centered around things that I love, and sharing them with you. Winter has always favorite time of the year, with beautiful colors in nature infiltrating into clothes, decorations and most importantly, desserts. When I was in Israel for the year, it was around this time that I really started missing the US. Though I don't celebrate Christmas, December definitely felt empty without holiday cheer (read: Peppermint mochas in Starbucks red holiday cups). Ronald Reagan captured this perfectly when he wrote, "Life is one grand, sweet song, so start the music." Indeed, life is sweet. So, brace yourself for a ride full of sweet stories, recipes, and tons of other fun. What are you waiting for, lets get started!
